We are thrilled that you have decided to participate in our AWANA program this year.  AWANA was originally founded with the goal of “reaching children for Christ and engaging them in long-term discipleship.”  Similarly, the mission of Sherwood Bible Church is “knowing the Savior and making Him known.” When you drop your children off for AWANA on Wednesday evenings, you can be certain that they will hear and learn Biblical truths that they may carry with them long into their adult walk with Christ.

Our AWANA Program meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm August -April

Registration Fee

The cost is $25 per child.

The cost is $5 for every child enrolled after the first 4 children in a single family.

*Fees cover cost of pennants, awards  & handbooks*

Sponsorships

It is a goal of ours to make this program available to all children. If you would like to sponsor a child for AWANA or if you are in need of a sponsorship, please email awana@sherwood.org.

AWANA isn't just for kids...it's for whole families!

Parents, if you are looking for an opportunity to make a life long impact in the lives of children, then look no further. According to a 2020 survey, children who participate in AWANA are more likely to come to faith and regularly attend church as adults. What greater difference can we have in a child’s life, than to lead them to a personal relationship with the Savior and foster a habit of continuing to learn about Him into adulthood. We have several AWANA roles that we need volunteers to fill in order to operate efficiently. If your are interested in joining our AWANA family please e-mail awana@sherwood.org.
